To finish up his sermon, Jesus gives four powerful illustrations, all with a goal to pressing his listeners for a decision. All of the illustrations have within them a dire warning: destruction, fire, rejection, destruction.<\/p>

Mt. 7:13-14 crystallizes our choices concerning the Sermon on the Mount, the previous 2 \u00bd chapters.<\/p>
