Making the offering over against reconciling with an offended individual is an example of putting the ceremonial over above the moral, something the Pharisees were prone to do<\/p>

We must not postpone reconciling with an offended brother or sister. Any religious exercise performed while we have sin in our hearts that has not been dealt with is meaningless.<\/p>
