1. I initially came to God as a spiritual beggar, destitute of personal <\/strong>righteousness, mourning over my sins, humbly accepting His free offer of salvation. (5:3-5) <\/strong><\/h3>

\u201cThe Beatitudes do not come at the end, they come at the beginning of the Sermon, and I do not hesitate to say that unless we are perfectly clear about them we should go no further. We have no right to go further.\u201d (MLJ, 23)<\/p>

He said to them, \"Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because <\/strong>MANY, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to<\/strong>\u201d (Luke 13:24).<\/strong><\/p>

QUESTION:<\/strong> Why won\u2019t \u2018many\u2019 be able to enter, why won\u2019t they be able to get into the kingdom of God? <\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>

The ones that do find it can\u2019t get in because they are not small enough or \u201cempty\u201d enough. The key to getting through is being a worm. This is why \u201cworm theology\u201d <\/strong>is so important.<\/p>

If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes, how much less man, who is but a maggot\u2014a son of man, who is only a worm!\" (Job 25:5-6).<\/strong><\/p>
